Whatever you do,
do it on purpose.
EJA serves clients across the non-profit, small business, start-up and corporate space. Whether building a playbook, website, visual identity, or marketing campaign, we are constantly asking, "So what?" Why this logo, why this typography, why this mission statement, why this consumer segment, why this campaign, why this ad copy, why now? We love to work with the following companies and individuals:
-
Corporate Misfits who leave large-scale companies to develop their own personal brands, consulting groups, and thought leadership efforts
-
Certified B Corporations who are both philanthropic and profit-generating
-
Non-profits seeking to expand, grow, re-brand, and deepen their impact, locally and nationally
-
Corporations and Fortune50 companies seeking to drive change, impact, and consumer awareness around specific issue sets/themes
-
Female-led and owned businesses that benefit female entrepreneurs
Core Values
EJA is built on integrity, curiosity, and generosity.
Integrity
We do the right thing, even when no one is watching. We build purposeful brands rooted in honesty and transparency so your brand shows up as authentic, credible, and trusted in the marketplace.
Curiosity
We ask better questions to create better outcomes. We’re dreamers who start with “What if?” and “Why?” long before “How?” or “What?” We believe possibility drives breakthroughs — and we encourage clients to stay adaptable and curious as AI and culture evolve daily.
Generosity
We give more than we take, investing in people, relationships, and shared success. Our clients’ wins are our wins. We go the extra mile, and we partner with businesses whose models and missions give back to society, the environment, and the communities they serve.
Building powerful brands for purposeful businesses
Emily Jacob Agency, LLC (EJA) was established in 2022 out of Austin, TX. Over the years, we saw a disconnect between brand teams and business units, where stories were purposeful, but they weren’t always powerful, because the two departments weren't talking. We wanted to build stories that were purposeful and powerful, driving sales and bottom-line results for businesses.

A Swiss Army Knife
We believe in close collaboration, creating bespoke strategies that lead to remarkable outcomes.
EJA does not directly employ a large team. Rather, we operate as a collective of designers, social media specialists, writers, creative production freelancers, and data analytics gurus that come together as the perfect Swiss army knife for your project. Emily sub-contracts with these entrepreneurs both locally and nationally, and each client is brought into the selection process.
We take on select projects and consulting opportunities, focusing on long-term relationships and sustainable growth both locally and nationally. With a wealth of experience, we provide tailored strategies that align with our clients’ unique goals and budgets, working creatively and swiftly.
Brand Origin Story
Emily Jacob Agency (EJA) was born from a name rooted in purpose.
Emily, from the Latin aemulus, means to strive, to excel, to be industrious.
Jacob, derived from the Hebrew Yaakov, carries the meaning to follow with intention, to take the lead, to make way.
Together, they form a legacy of ambition and action—a commitment to building things that matter, forging relationships that endure, and elevating brands with clarity and conviction.
EJA stands on this foundation. It is an agency shaped by diligence, drive, and the pursuit of excellence.
EJA is a place where curiosity fuels creativity, where integrity guides decisions, and where generosity powers every client relationship.
EJA is something different:
-
A catalyst for purposeful growth
-
A partner who brings both heart and horsepower
-
A brand-builder who not only tells the story, but knows how to sell the story
